Grill guys (and grill girls) need a good barbecue fork along with tongs and a spatula. Really, that's the base there. So, don't go buying those little BBQ gift tool boxes of outdoor grilling junk. Invest in one great item like the Backyard Warriors Fork It Over grill fork and stick a bow on it if you must. Your favorite outdoor cook will use a Fork It Over all the time and for years versus toying around with wimpy barbecue gear that ends up gathering dust.
Yep! This is a Real Barbecue Fork
If you've been using kitchen forks to grill or barbecue, then you are missing out. Fork It Over was made for the barbecue grill, and it is not going to get bent out of shape (along with your wife). It's one serious fork with a long sturdy handle and prongs up front and on the sides.
There's nothing complicated about Fork It Over. It's just one darn fine and well designed fork that will flip your chicken or let you get a grip on a pork butt or shoulder.
Isn't Forking a BBQ No No?
Yeah. You'll hear that you should never stick your barbecue meat. It lets out the juices.
But . . . most grillers do use forks of some kind so might as well use a decent barbecue fork.
Also, there are some things you just are not going to get turned over on the grill with a spatula. Try that with a whole chicken or a big tenderloin. Nope. Flipping is going to be an issue.
I grill all the time and even when it snows. Bless the polar bear barbecue folks huh? And, I can tell you you are not going to ruin your grilled dinner if you use a barbecue fork. Don't go sticking that meat every few minutes (watched pot thing), but when you need a good flip or even to test doneness, a good barbecue fork can be a blessing.
On Guard - This is a Tool and Not a Toy
Don't leave your Fork It Over laying around. It does, indeed, look like a perfect toy for a sword fight for the rug rats. And, I've been tempted myself . . . Oh yes. Bring it on. No. Be nice. Do not fight with your Fork It Over. Get something softer for that, or you'll get to visit the Emergency Room. Not so special.
This is one serious barbecue fork and the best I've found over 35 plus years. I can't imagine ever having to replace it. It is built that sturdy. But, if my Fork It Over did go missing or broke (would shock me), I'd sure buy another one in a heartbeat.
