Sologear FlameDisk (3 pack)
I recommend this product because it's easy, safe, and there's no clean up afterwards.

If you've ever been frustrated trying to start charcoal, the FlameDisk may be just what you've been looking for. Flame Disk is an alternative to charcoal, but it can be used in your old charcaol grill that may be sitting there gathering dust if you've had bad grilling experiences.

Super Easy Grilling or Tailgating

All you have to do with FlameDisk is open it up and light it. That's it. You are grilling in seconds and with no pain. Plus, you do not have any clean up with FlameDisk. It burns out clean, and the little pan can be recycled.

FlameDisk is perfect for tailgating, but it's fine at home for barbecue parties or whereever you may want to fire up a grill. It's really a very simple grill accessory, but it does wonders for those who may be a bit grilling challenged.

I recommend Flame Disk to my students who tailgate, because the disks are easy to start, cook even, and there are no hot and dangerous coals to deal with after the game. I also use them myself when I'm tired and do not feel like building a fire.

How Exactly Does Flame Disk Work?

If you can't tell from the photos, the FlameDisk is kind of like a throw-away pie plate. Inside you have the fuel which looks like candle wax. You'll see some little wicks sticking out of the holes. Just light up with the provided matches (they have it all covered), and that's it. It really is as simple to use Solargear FlameDisk as lighting up a candle.

Cyndi, I tried them earlier this year and they totally rock. probably not going to replace your gas grill at home or charcoal for the hard-core griller but in terms of conveneince they can't be beat. We saw them being promoted at at tailgating event in Milwaukee and were really intregued. They work just as advertised. You light them and you can cook instantly - just like propane. We cooked three rounds of burgers that tasted delicious. When they go out they're cool to the touch right away and you can recycle them. We've used them many time since and had very good luck. Hope you enjoy them. Cheers, Mike
